Le Jardin de Fleur sponsors golf tournament in aid of cystic fibrosis [September 2007]:
Le Jardin de Fleur held the latest in its run of charity golf events at El Chaparral Golf Course on September 4th & 5th. Le Jardin de Fleur proudly supported Golf Promotions in aid of cystic fibrosis. 80 players enjoyed the days’ activities including a number of celebrites, such as stand-up comedian Stan Boardman, snooker champion Dennis Taylor and Black Abbots singer Clive Abbot. The winners were announced at a gala dinner at the El Chaparral Clubhouse where Stan Boardman was joined by singer Ned Kelley, Comedian Duncan Norville and Stars in their Eyes finalist Paul McCoy. 5000€ was raised throughout the event which was donated to the Jordan Bond Memorial Fund helping children suffering from Cystic Fibrosis to enjoy fulfilling lives by supplying toys, gifts and holidays. Le Jardin de Fleur Sales Director, Simon Boxus, says “we are very pleased to be supporting Golf Promotions and Gerry’s activities with the charity. We plan to continue raising money for the cause over the coming months”. The next golfing date has been scheduled for November 2007 with a grand finale event. |
